1 – What does ‘being a mom’ mean to you?
Being a mom means stop living for yourself and breathe for your child(en). It means being always ready to make sacrifices for the sake of the child (en)’s well-being.
2 – Do you think motherhood is outdated or should be reinvented?
Motherhood cannot be reinvented, nor is it outdated because it was invented by God.
3 – Does your mom inspire you to have a family of your own some day?
I have great family values and I totally got that from her. Yes, she did inspire me to have a family of my own.
4 – As a parent, what would you change from the way your mom is dealing/ has dealt with motherhood?
If there is one thing I would do differently from my mom, it would be put more trust on my son. As an adolescent growing up, I did not get that trust factor from her. Even though she set the boundaries as to what I can and cannot do, she still put me under a lot of scrutiny.
5 – What price would you put on your mom’s love?
I cannot put a price on my mother’s love because I owe her everything. Even if I were to work 3 lifetimes (assuming several of them existed), I could not make enough money to repay her for all the sacrifices she has made so that I can be who I am today.
